Jointly with Korea Venture Business Association (KOVA), SMBA held 'Venture Korea 2010,' a festival of venture businesses, October 19~2 at Hanyang University.
At this year's event, 92 venture firms and contributors won awards, including DASAN Networks, a communications equipment company, which received the Bronze Tower Order of Industrial Service Merit.
An employment exposition was held concurrently in order to help about 100 venture companies select some 500 new employees as well as a conference where domestic and international scholars gathered to discuss the theme 'Korea's Entrepreneurship Status and Development Methods.'
Attended by the Korea Technology Credit Guarantee Fund (Kibo), Ministry of Justice and Korea Venture Business Women's Association (KOVWA), a start-up consulting session and business consulting session to assist the overseas advance of venture companies were held in addition as well.
The venture business community appraises that the growth trend of venture firms this year is outstanding, to the extent of being called the 'Second Venture Boom.'
